Building or modifying a Honda with a K-series engine? This aluminum upper coolant housing is a popular upgrade, especially if you're running a turbo setup. It's designed to be compatible with K20Z3 and most K24 cylinder heads (just note: it excludes the K24A1, K24Z, and K24Y series, and there can be fitment issues with some K20 housings, so double-check your application). The main benefit is it provides greater clearance for sidewinder-style turbo manifolds, which the bulky stock housing often interferes with. It's a straight inlet with an integrated filler neck. The hose outlet on this housing actually pivots slightly—about 15 degrees—so you can angle the upper radiator hose to avoid your intake piping or other components. Super handy for custom engine bays. It features a standard 1.25-inch outlet for your regular radiator hose. It also has a -16AN O-ring outlet and a -12AN O-ring filler inlet for those running AN fittings. The optional separate filler neck (not always included) is designed to work with an OEM 92-00 Honda Civic radiator cap. This is a performance-oriented part that cleans up the engine bay, improves fitment with aftermarket setups, and is made from quality aluminum. Just remember, sensors and temperature gauges are NOT included—it's just the housing itself. A must-have for Honda tuners dealing with tight spaces.
