We can help kids and families of South Berkeley!

Let’s help our community’s kids be prepared for school this coming school year by collecting backpacks and school supplies at our South Berkeley Block Party and Backpack Drive on Sunday, August 4th from 6-8pm, being held at the grassy lot across from Taylor’s Farm Market on Pilgrim Street in Inwood.

When you bring your school supplies to the Backpack Drive on August 4th, stay to enjoy free food, games, and bounce house!

The list of school supply needs are below. You may also follow the link to the Amazon Wish List with all the supplies already listed. You may purchase a backpack and fill it with all the supplies, or you may purchase supplies and we will fill the backpacks.

Please bring donations to Connections Community Church at 303 True Apple Way, Inwood, WV, or you can bring the items to the event on August 4th. Monetary donations can be made out to Connections Community Church with “backpack drive” in the memo line.

Contact Hayley Miller, Children’s Ministry Director, at hmiller@c3wv.org for any questions!

All items donated from this list at the South Berkeley Backpack Drive on August 4th will be given to school children in need in the South Berkeley area. The school supplies on this list are adapted from the recommended school supplies for each student on the Berkeley County Schools website:
