Connections Community Church Community Group Startup

Community Group Startup Form
We're so excited you are considering starting a community group here at Connections! I wanted to take a moment and express my appreciation for your desire to get involved and love, reach, and teach this community about our Lord and Savior, Jesus! Community Groups are a great way we can follow the model set by Jesus to form relationships, make disciples, train new leaders, and multiply ministry outward.

C3 Community Groups Mission:

Create small group environments where people connect relationally and grow spiritually. We want to ensure that EVERYONE at Connections is known and loved by SOMEONE at Connections.

Who should we contact for updates and information about your group (POC)?
This person does not have to be the group facilitator or host. They would be responsible for providing the post-session group report.
Where will your group be meeting?
eg. Tuesdays at 5:30
eg. weekly, bi-weekly
Some examples might be "married couples", "single adults", "parents of young children", "empty nesters", "people interested corn hole", "book club", etc.
It is ok if you do not have a plan for childcare. However, we would be glad to help you figure out a plan if you do not have one but would like one.
Are you going to have refreshments?
This could be anything from a meal to snacks to just coffee and desert.
We would be glad to share ideas and resources if needed. Just let us know!
We would be glad to share some ideas if interested.
Starting a group can be challenging. Most successful group start out with a core group of individuals that already know one another. We recommend you start there and branch out. The sweet spot for a small group is 8-12 people.
