Kidz Connect News for Parents

The April memory verse is:

Lord, who is like you, among the gods?
Who is like you, glorious in holiness,
revered with praises, performing wonders?

Exodus 15:11 CSB

See What the Kids Are Learning This Month:

Kidz Connect follows The Gospel Project curriculum.

Unit Overview: When God’s people arrived at the border of the promised land (Canaan), they did the unthinkable: they disbelieved God’s faithfulness and disobeyed His command by refusing to enter. As a result, God forced His people away from the land to wander in the wilderness where they continued in their disbelief and sin against a good, loving, and holy God.

Big Picture Question: What is God like? God is holy, good, and loving.

April 7th- The People Didn’t Go Into the Land Numbers 13-14

April 14th- Moses Disobeyed God Numbers 20

April 21st- God Healed the People Numbers 21

April 28th- No One is Like God 1 Peter 1

Meet Birye and Gus the Guzzling Giver!

Kidz Connect is sponsoring Birye, an eight-year-old girl from Ethiopia, through Compassion International.  These funds help equip Birye with the skills and opportunities she needs to succeed — all through a local church that knows and cares for her personally. A few benefits include medical checkups, malnutrition monitoring, vocation training and education assistance.

Kids are encouraged to bring an offering every Sunday to feed Gus the Guzzling Giver, our awesome offering piggy bank, which will go directly to Birye’s needs.
